Slow week at the multiplex, but better than usual. Typically, the first week of January is a barren wasteland of "You Best Go See Something That Came Out Last Week." Of course, January itself is typically a barren wasteland "No, Really. Go Catch Up on the Movies That Might Win an Award. Because None of These Will." It's where movie go to die.
