Sarah Marshall spottings

You might have seen the nasty little billboards popping up around town. The ones that say, "My mom always hated you Sarah Marshall" or "You do look fat in those jeans, Sarah Marshall."
And you've probably wondered, "Who is this jerk spending all of this money, and what does he have against Sarah Marshall?"
You'll find the answers to those questions in the upcoming comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which plays at the AFI Dallas film festival on April 6 before opening in wide release on April 18.

The film centers on Peter (Jason Segel, who also wrote the film), who is dumped by his famous girlfriend Sarah Marshall (Kristin Bell) and you might say is having a difficult time getting over the breakup.
Universal, the studio behind the film, has gone the viral marketing route, churning out half a dozen Web sites in addition to the ubiquitous billboards that Peter has put up. So if you are really interested in further delving into Peter's psyche, check out his blog at www.ihatesarahmarshall.com. Feel that it's unfair that Sarah is being so publicly ridiculed?
