Harold and Kumar, the Rolling Stones and Helen Hunt: that's how the SXSW Film Festival will roll next month. The full lineup for SX 2008, running March 7-15, has been announced. Here's some stuff we're looking forward to. Shine a Light: Martin Scorsese. The Stones. 'Nuff said. 21: The film based on Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six M.I.T Students Who Took Vegas for Millions, which has quite the self-explanatory title. Then She Found Me: Helen Hunt will be there to discuss her directorial debut. Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay: But first they get stoned. Peep the full lineup here. |

This year will mark my first trip to the festival, and I must say I'm pretty excited. Alas, I am too broke to afford one of those awe-inspiring passes, so I'll have to choose carefully. Other than the aforementioned flicks, I'm definitely looking forward to Morgan Spurlock's 'Super-Size Me' follow-up, 'Where in the World is Osama bin Laden?' and the doc on the inspiring Young@Heart Chorus. Check out their stuff on YouTube. The eldest member's take on "Fix You" is a real heartbreaker.
